Domestic and Family Violence
We offer individual and group programmes for women, men and children who have experienced the effects of an abusive relationship.
All of our centres provide a range of face-to-face family interventions aimed at improving family relationships, building on life skills, increasing parenting skills and addressing parental issues. Interventions may include one to one or family group sessions.
These include:
- Counselling and therapy services including general individual and family counselling, family violence/conflict counselling and sexual abuse counselling;
- Individual and family social support and skill development, including home based support;
- Peer support programmes for children, young people and their families;
- Individual and group parent education sessions – with a specific focus e.g. fathers, blended families and teen parents.
